After completing my Higher School Certificate I was employed by a leading retail sporting supplier for 8 years. During this time i worked my through the business from ground level beginning as sales assistant, after 12 months moved into managerial role where i established a new retail outlet. Due to success in this role i was then called upon to establish yet another new outlet for the organisation. Tasks included high volume sales, stock control, creating and designing key marketing and sales catalogues for nationwide distribution. Other major roles during this time included managing a number of other employees, staff rosters, financial management and budgeting
For the past 8 years I have worked as an account manager in a financial brokerage firm. Major role was business development which involved establishing and maintaining long term relationships with vendors and clients alike. Other key tasks included submitting detailed and in-depth applications to various underwriters, financial data assessment, settlement processing and varying other tasks.
