I have been working in the automotive industry for eight years, including the last two years as a senior mechanic at Michael's Car Garage. I was promoted to this position within two years of starting work with the company by demonstrating my experience with vehicle mechanics and maintaining a record of zero comebacks on cars I had serviced.

Working as Senior Mechanic has required the ability to confidently direct and supervise staff members and oversee the general running of a busy workshop. I have excellent communication skills and have developed superior conflict resolution and staff management skills acting as a mediator between the mechanics and the general manager. I am organised, accustomed to maintaining company records and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs. My position has required superior understanding of vehicle electrical systems, fault diagnostics, and pneumatic and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.
