MAINTENANCE PLANNING AND TECHNICAL RECORDS ENGINEER - OVERLAND AIRWAYSLAGOS, Nigeria
- Controlling and updating the electronic and manual systems of forecasting and tracking required maintenance activities; tracking of hours, cycles and calendar time for airframe, engines and power plant and life-limited components
- Forecasting, planning and scheduling maintenance and inspections IAW approved maintenance program.
- Controlling and administration of aircraft technical records
- Controlling of continuing airworthiness information (airworthiness directives, service bulletins, communiques, letters etc.).
- Issuing and controlling of work order, engineering orders and repairs.
- Preparing aircraft maintenance checks work package taking cognizance of the necessary human factors principles.
- Reviewing and processing of the information contained in the aircraft technical log sheets and completed worksheets into the aircraft, engines and propellers logbooks as appropriate.
- Maintaining a record of compliance for all accomplished airworthiness directives and service bulletins and other continuing airworthiness information publications.
- Keeping and updating of the aircraft, engines and propellers logbooks.
- Developing/Reviewing Approved Maintenance Programme in line with the latest revision of the Manufacturers Maintenance Planning Document.
- Track Status of compliance with Airworthiness Directives
- Liaising with the Flight Operations department and Production/Line maintenance department on making aircraft scheduled for maintenance available for the scheduled line and base maintenance.
- Prepares and presents monthly maintenance forecast as well as quarterly and yearly forecasts/plan fleet maintenance.
- Prepares monthly fleet operational and maintenance status performance reports.
- Plans and coordinates logistics required for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
- Liaising with the Quality Assurance department on Aircraft’s Certificate of Airworthiness Certificate renewal process

- Tracks Aircraft scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure proper plan for availability of materials, tool, human resource required to achieve accomplishment of maintenance task in the least ground time.
- Reviews manufacturer documents and keeps track of status of subscription to updates made to such documents.
- Ensures the Approved Maintenance Program is updated in line with the latest revision of the Manufacturer’s MPD and other related documents.
- Presents short and long term fleet forecast for management approval.
- Tracks status of the fleet compliance with applicable Airworthiness directives and requirements.
- Liaise with MROs on planning maintenance slot availability for heavy C checks.
- Provides periodic review of fleet reliability data.
