Project: Impulse Piping & Steam Tracing Fabrication & Erection at M.R.P.L Phase 3, Mangalore
The project involves fabrication and erection of
Small bore pipes and conducting hydrotest under the contract
TECHNIP.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Implement Project Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Monitor delivery of permanent materials and ensure the quality of products / consumables / materials comply with requirements of established Standards & Specifications.
• Conducts inspection on regular basis such as visual inspection, dimensional checks, witnessing of NDT, PMI, Hydrostatic testing.
• Conduct line checking / walk down to ensure piping system are complete in accordance with AFC isometric drawing and P& IDs.
• Interpreting and evaluating of NDT Results, witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Post test Re-instatement.
• Conversant with International Codes & Standards like ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, IBR.
• Preparation of the Testing Reports; Daily report and Weekly report.
•Coordinate with subcontractor QC Personnel for quality issues.
•Monitoring all the piping and structural Welding works.
•Identification and markings of correctness of material.
•Welding consumables inspection such as electrode, filler wire, inert gases.
•Conduct Dimensional Inspection before and after welding to ensure the required dimensions to meet the reference drawing.
•Ensure the correct WPS and skilled Welders utilized on the specified jobs.
•Re-validation of Welder Qualification based on performance in accordance with the Code and Project Specification requirements.
•Preparation of Inspection reports and Test packages.
•Maintain records of inspection and submitting to the client for reference.
